Helpful Information for Teen Students
- Illinois law requires anyone under the age of 18 to keep their permit for 9 months minimum before they can obtain a license. This means that even if you are old enough to get a license (16 years old) you will have to keep your permit for 9 months before you can take the road test.
- A Certificate of Completion is required for you to get a license. In order for you to get a Certificate of Completion, you need to be passing a minimum of 8 classes within the last two most recent semesters of Jr./High School. You can provide us with a copy of your report card as proof of your eligibility. If you are home-schooled, we can provide your parents with the necessary form to complete.
- Students are allowed to miss up to 4 classroom sessions before they are dropped from the course. All missed sessions will need to made-up before you can complete the course.
